  • One cup of water per one cup of dried desiccated coconut flakes


  • Add your coconut flakes and water to a large pan, bring to a boil, and once boiling turn to a simmer for 15 mins
  • After 15 mins turn off the heat, and in one-hour intervals, blend with a stick/Emerson blender, if you only have a standard blend then wait until cool and blend in batches as large as your blender can handle.
  • Once all blended and emulsified, filter your mixture with cheesecloth, a fine mesh, or a nut milk bag, and store in the fridge or freezer
